      Where is the Hong Kong National Security Exhibition Gallery located?
      The National Security Exhibition Gallery is located on the second floor of the Hong Kong Museum of History, 100 Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
      What public transportation options are available to visit the National Security Exhibition Gallery?
      Visitors can walk to the Hong Kong Museum of History from MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Hung Hom Station, or East Tsim Sha Tsui Station. For group visits, tour buses can drop off and pick up passengers at the roundabout next to the Hong Kong Science Museum.
      What are the opening hours of the National Security Exhibition Gallery?

      Visitors may take photos inside the exhibition gallery, but please refrain from using flashlight, selfie sticks, or tripods so as not to inconvenience other visitors.
      Are smoking or eating and drinking allowed in the National Security Exhibition Gallery?
      Smoking, eating, and drinking are not allowed in the exhibition gallery.

Group Tour Docent Service

      Does the National Security Exhibition Gallery offer docent services?
      Groups of 20 persons or more (including schools, community organisations and other institutions) can apply for group tour docent service which lasts about 30 - 45 minutes per session. The number of visitors for each application should be no fewer than 20 and no more than 40.
      How can groups apply for docent services at the National Security Exhibition Gallery? Is there a fee involved?
      Eligible groups can apply for docent services on the National Security Education Day website (www.nsed.gov.hk). Applications must be submitted at least two weeks before the visit. The service is free of charge.
      Are groups with fewer than 20 or more than 40 persons unable to apply for docent services at the exhibition gallery?
      To make the best use of resources and due to venue limitations, the exhibition gallery only accepts applications for group tour docent service from groups with 20 to 40 visitors. If individual groups have more than 40 visitors, they can apply for docent services in batches. They can also fill in the relevant information in the “Remarks” column when submitting the application and we will follow up accordingly. Separately, we welcome individuals or groups with fewer than 20 visitors to visit the exhibition gallery freely during opening hours.
      Is there a monthly or annual limit on the number of times a group can apply for docent services?
      Group tour docent services that meet the application requirements will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. However, the exhibition gallery may make adjustments based on the actual application circumstances.
      What language options are available for docent services at the National Security Exhibition Gallery?
      When applying for docent services online, groups can choose to request Cantonese, Putonghua, or English as the docent language. The exhibition gallery will accommodate the language preference as far as practicable and based on the availability of staff. For your information, our display panels feature QR codes that provide detailed exhibition information in English.
      After applying for docent services at the exhibition gallery, how will I know if the application is successful? Are there any additional procedures involved?
      After a group has submitted an online application for docent services, we will process it as soon as possible. To verify the application information, we will contact the group by phone / email. After confirming the application details, we will notify the group of the result via email as soon as possible. Groups with a successful booking only need to arrive at the first floor lobby of the Hong Kong Museum of History at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time and show the reply email to the on-duty docent. The docent will then lead the group to visit the National Security Exhibition Gallery.
      How can I cancel a docent service booking?
      In the confirmation email sent by the exhibition gallery to groups for successful applications, there is a “Cancel Booking ” option. If a group needs to cancel a booking due to special circumstances, please click “Cancel Booking” as early as possible (at least three days in advance) so that the time slot concerned can be released to other organisations.
